INTRODUCTORY CLASS: STRINGING
Learn the skills you need in order to design and make your own necklace or bracelet. This class will introduce you to the different types of materials and tools used in jewelry making, how to use a bead board to design and size your piece, and the various ways to attach a clasp. This is a hands-on class where you will make a bracelet using semi-precious stones, plated spacer beads, and a plated lobster claw clasp. The perfect class to get started making your own jewelry. Absolutely no experience necessary. 2 hours; $40 plus tax (includes all materials)

INTRODUCTORY CLASS: WIRE WRAPPING
This class will teach you how to use headpins and wire to make dangly earrings. You will learn about the different types of wire used in jewelry making, how to select the best wire for your project, and two approaches to attaching beads so they dangle from your piece - the simple loop and briolette wrap. This is a hands-on class where you will manipulate sterling silver wire to create 2 pair of earrings. The same technique can be used to attach beads or charms so they dangle from chain, bracelets or necklaces - it's probably the most versatile and most frequently used jewelry making technique. No pre-requisites, but if you've never taken a class before, we suggest that you take Introduction to Stringing first. 2 hours; $40 plus tax (includes all materials)

INTRODUCTORY CLASS: KNOTTING WITH SILK
Knotting with silk has a number of advantages: the knots protect delicate beads from rubbing against each other, silk provides a much softer look and feel - especially important with smaller expensive strands, the knots can be used as a design element, and the color of the silk can complement the beads. In our Knotting with Silk Class you will learn how to use silk cord to enhance your jewelry designs. In this class you will make a 'tin cup' style necklace with large fresh water pearls and Swarovski bicones, selecting from our wide assortment of silk colors. Finish off your piece with a sterling silver clasp. Basic stringing/crimping knowledge required. 2 hours; Cost $45 plus tax (includes all materials).
